On the eve of 70th Independence Day, “The Thumpers", a growing riding club of tri-city salutes the true heroes of the Nation by riding their bikes in the PRIDE RIDE TO INDEPENDENT INDIA.On this special day, Mayor Mr Arun Sood flagged off around 70 riding members of the club with full enthusiasm for a 50 km long tricity ride from Sukhna Lake. “The Tricity experienced such an event for the first time and this could not have been possible without the support of our honorable Mayor” told the Core Member of Thumpers.The main cause of the ride was to salute the true heroes of the freedom fight and bring back the Patriotic breeze on the roads of the city. The ride further supported Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan and Road Safety.The Thumpers thanks all the riders, the officials and the citizens of the tricity for their support.
