National level painters Camp commences at Kala Kendra

A five day National Level Young Painters Camp commenced here at Kala Kendra Jammu. The camp has been organized a as part of the Independence Day Celebrations. The camp attended by 14 painters from across the country, was inaugurated by Rajesh Gupta M.L.A, Jammu East in presence of Soujanya Sharma, Secretary Kala Kendra and Director Local Bodies.The Five day camp is being coordinated by noted   painters of the state, Rohit Verma.The MLA congratulated the artists and appreciated the endeavour of Secretary Kala Kendra to hold National level painters Camp as part of the I-Day celebrations.The participant painters are Roma Bahl, R.P.Singh, Sahil Ohri ,Ankush kesar, Renu Bala, Narinder Kumar, Anjali Bharti,Sunil Dutta,Sushil Bharti, Salil Sharma, Amrit Kour,Shivali Jamwal, Mohinika and Imran Khan.In his welcome address Soujanya Sharma informed the artist fraternity about forthcoming activities being organized by Kala Kendra. He informed that very soon the admission forms to get registration for studio will be available for artists. He further informed that the process of establishing a artist cafeteria in the premises of Kala Kendra is in the pipeline.
