Govt deputes group of doctors for Hajj 2016

‘14 doctors to facilitate pilgrims’

While the three groups of Hajis left for the holy city of Madina Munnawarra to conduct Haj-e-Baitullah, the government on Saturday deputed doctors for Hajj 2016 to facilitate pilgrims. Sources told KNS that a group of doctors comprising of 14 members have been deputed for Hajj 2016 to facilitate the pilgrims.“The doctors include Dr. Gh.Rasool Dar PHC Trehgam Kupwara, Dr. Nisar Ahmed Wani, I/c BMO Sheeri, Dr. Shagufta Rather Medical Officer Block Sopore, Dr. Khalid Rashid I/c DHO Anantnag, Dr. Arshad Hussain Trag Medical Officer PHC Natnusa, Dr. Mudasar Iqbal , MO DH Budgam, Dr. Rehana Parveen , MO PHC Zachaldara, Dr. Furqan Iqbal, MO DH Budgam, Dr. Hafizullah Ganie, MO Central Jail Srinagar, Dr. Ab.Gani Khan, MO DH Pulwama, Dr. Javaid Ahmed Javaid , Consultant Gynae CHC Keller, Dr. Ab.Gani Dar, MO DH Pulwama, Dr. Muneera Akhter MO DH Budgam and Dr. Bashir Ah Chichak , Consultant Surgeon SDH Kriri have been deputed to facilitate the pilgrims in case they need medical assistance during conducting Haj-e-Baitullah,” sources said.Pertinently, the first group of 340 Hajis left for the holy city of Madina Munnawarra in a direct Air India flight from Srinagar’s International Airport on August 10 while 680 Hajj pilgrims left for the holy city on August 11. In the third group, 680 Hajis left for the holy city on August 12.Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti accorded a warm send off to the first batch of Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir and wished them a safe journey and smooth performance of Manasik-e-Hajj.Mehbooba asked pilgrims to pray to Allah for peace and progress of the state as well as safeguarding its people from the tragedies and miseries of violence and bloodshed.
