Arrangements for special outreach programme on various Govt schemes discussed

Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Arvind Sharma today convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements for two day long special outreach programme on various Government Schemes scheduled to be held at Chenani in the last week of this month.The programme aims at generating mass awareness among the people regarding the various Government schemes.Pertinently, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, GoI has launched an intensive Public Awareness Campaign throughout the country on various policies and programmes initiated by the Government and the Directorate of Field Publicity is going to organize two days special interactive programme on various schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao,Swachh Bharat  Abhiyan Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Sukanya Samridhi Zyojna, Pradhan Mantri Koushal Vikas Yojna etc.The concerned departments were asked to participate in this programme and generate awareness about the schemes of their departments. They were also asked to install their   stalls and distribute IEC material regarding various schemes.PO ICDS Rakesh Kumar, CMO Dr. Chander Prakash, CEO Bishan Singh, District Panchayat Officer Sandeep Seointra, Deputy Director, DFP  Neha Jalali, DIO Esha Chib and other officers from Police, EDI and SBI attended the meeting.
