Div Com reviews progress on Satwari-Kunjwani road

Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting to review the progress on Satwari-Kunjwani road.The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Simrandeep Singh, Additional Commissioner, Rehana Batul, Chief Engineer R&B, Alok Mengi and other senior officers from R&B, PHE.Divisional Commissioner was apprised that project involves construction of 7 km road length from Satwari to Kunjwani at an estimated cost of 16 crore and till date work on 5 km stretch has been completed.Dr Kotwal directed Deputy Commissioner to constitute a team which will assess and   remove the bottlenecks impeding the proper implementation of the project. He also stressed upon the concerned agencies to strictly adhere to the guidelines of National Highway Authority of India while carrying out the project.
