Two days CSS awareness camp begins at Kalakote

Minister for Animal, Sheep husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today appealed the people to come forward and avail maximum benefit of various centrally sponsored schemes launched by Government of India for welfare of the common masses.The Minister said this while addressing a huge gathering after inaugurating two days CSS awareness camp organised by the Department of Field Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India.The main objective of this awareness camp is to create awareness among the common masses regarding the various centrally sponsored schemes so that people in this hilly district could avail maximum benefits from these schemes.

Highlighting the achievements of the central government during the last two years, the Minister said that government  has launched various schemes and projects but common people especially rural masses cannot avail benefits of the same mostly due to lack of awareness regarding various centrally sponsored schemes. The Minister added that organizing such type of programmes should be a regular feature so that benefits of various welfare schemes of the government reach to the targeted population.The Minister while emphasizing upon the people to participate in the developmental process by giving proper feedback to the government said that public partaking is imperative for effective implementation of various schemes on ground.Later, the Minister also inspected the stalls established by various departments.Director Field Publicity R.P. Saroch Additional District Development Commissioner Rajouri, G.S.Chib Deputy besides other officers were also present on the occasion.
