Jammu Kashmir National Front Chairman, and Hurriyat leader, Nayeem Ahmad Khan has strongly condemned the attacks on Hospitals and ambulances by police and occupation forces. In a statement issued to KNS, Nayeem Khan said that tear gas shelling in SMHS, Kangan and many other Hospitals in south and north Kashmir is a clear indication that occupation forces have waged a war against Kashmiri people and they don’t want injured persons to get treatment in the hospitals. These forces are not only on a killing ‘mission’ in every nook and corner of the valley but they attack ambulances to ensure that the injured die for the lack of medical treatment. He said that this is the cruellest criminal face of Indian ‘democracy’.

Nayeem Khan said that the present situation has added to the responsibilities of the pro-freedom people especially youth who should exercise utmost discipline and ensure hassle- free movement of ambulances, doctors, patients, the sick and the needy. He appealed people to exhibit utmost discipline during protests demonstrations. Nayeem Khan also impressed upon people to take care of needy and the poor and support these families in the present crisis when pro-Indian politicians and occupation forces at their behest have added genocidal proportions to their operations and the continuous curfew of one month has led to grave humanitarian crisis in Kashmir.Nayeem Khan strongly condemned the lockdown of the valley which has created a situation where even ill and old persons are not allowed to move out of their houses. He strongly condemned the damaging of residential houses, thrashing of journalists and stopping the movement of the sick and the needy by the forces. He said he appealed people to exhibit utmost discipline at this crucial juncture. (KNS)
