Train With More Than 1050 Pilgrims From Ludhiana City Reaches Back Ludhiana From Sri Hazoor Sahib

Under Punjab government's Chief Minister Tirath Darshan Yatra Scheme, a special train carrying pilgrims from Ludhiana City to Sri Hazoor Sahib (Nanded) reached back at Railway Station, Ludhiana today afternoon. On their arrival, the pilgrims thanked the Punjab government and Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal for starting the "Chief Minister Tirath Darshan Yatra Scheme", which is benefiting lakhs of people in the state.The train was welcomed by District President Shiromani Akali Dal and Punjab Traders Board Vice Chairman Mr Madan Lal Bagga. This train carrying around 1050 pilgrims from Ludhiana City had left for Sri Hazoor Sahib (Nanded) from Ludhiana on August 2, 2016.This special train comprised of 15 coaches and during their pilgrimage, the pilgrims visited Takht Shri Hazoor Sahib, Gurudwara Mal Tekri Sahib, Gurudwara Hira Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Shikar Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Mata Sahib Kaur Ji, Gurudwara Sangatsar Sahib, Gurudwara Banda Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Nagina Ghat Sahib, Gurudwara Langar Sahib, besides others.

While speaking to media persons on the occasion, Mr Madan Lal Bagga said that the Chief Minister Tirath Darshan Yatra Scheme is well received by people as majority of them have visited Sri Hazoor Sahib for the first time. He said that the Punjab government paid for their comfortable journey enabling people to have darshan of the holy places in and around Nanded. He said that this scheme is mainly benefiting those who could not go on pilgrimage due to either financial constraints or due to some other problem. He said that all the pilgrims thanked the Punjab government for starting this scheme as their entire journey was very comfortable.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Mr Dimple Rana, Mr Gurpreet Singh Babbal, besides several others.
