The Forest department today retrieved around 70 Kanal encroached forest land here in Sunjwan area.The Forest Minister, Ch Lal Singh was personally present during the anti-encroachment operation carried by a joint team of Forest Protection Force and Jammu and Kashmir police.Immediately after receiving the complaint about the   encroachment by a local, the Minister rushed to the spot and supervised the anti-encroachment drive.He asked the Officers of Forest Protection Force to keep close check in the area to prevent encroachments on forest land.
