Starting of Student's Care Centre Announced

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri organized on Orientation programme for the newly admitted students of I year & II year (LEET) classes. The programme was attended by about 1100 students & parents. During the proceedings, the students were informed about the main rules & regulations of PTU Jalandhar & the College.Speaking on the occasion, Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chairman CGC told the students that each working day was going to cost more than Rs. 1000/- to a student. As such with a view to make the use of their parents money, the students should not remain absent even for a single day. He further advised them that after taking admission in a prestigious college like CGC Jhanjeri, they should not aim at jobs of less than Rs. 10-12 lakh p.a and they should start preparing themselves for it right from day one. The Training & Placement cell of the college will give them a 360° Pre-Placement training for this purpose. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that the students will be provided all possible facilities to make their stay in this college comfortable as well as fruitful. Dr. G.D Bansal, Director General announced that a 'Students Care Centre' has been established in the college where all problems of the students will be solved within 48 hours. Dr. Bansal added that it is a unique facility where all problems of the students will be attended under one roof.
