National Conference today received a major boost for its working in border belt of Saujiyan in Poonch where several prominent workers of ruling People’s Democratic Party joined NC.A programme in this regard was held in Saujiyan which was chaired by Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan.In this programme Mahraj din Tantary, Mushtaq Ahmed Tantary, Mohd Altaf Lone, Abdul Majid Tantary, all prominent workers of PDP from the area from Saujiyan belt left PDP and joined NC.While welcoming the new entrants in the party, YNC Province President Ajaz Jan said that entry of these prominent political faces in NC will prove beneficial for party in the upcoming times.The new entrants also said that they supported PDP in previous polls but government has failed to fulfil the expectations of the public which has forced them to skip PDP to restore public confidence on their individuality.

The senior NC leaders present in the programme were Abdul Ahad Bhatt, Mohd Akram lone, Mohd Aslam Bhatt, Imtaz Banday, Abdul Ahad Malik Kamrate, Gulla Bhatt, Abdul Jabar Tantary, Ismial Bhatt Pralkote, Aslam Sheikh, Ishaq Khan, Saleem Khari, Afzal Awan, Shabir Lone, Zahoor Ahmed Bhatt, Ghulam Ahmed Lone, Babu Mohd Rashid, Mohd Aslam Awan.YNC Provincial President Ajaz Jan, on this occasion, has also castigated state government for contradictory statements from senior leaders on the encounter of Burhan Wani.Jan said that on one hand Chief Minister is giving a different statement while Deputy CM is terming this an accident whereas BJP MLA Nowshera, Ravinder Raina is saying that Police and Army was having authentic information about the presence of HM Commander Burhan Wani in the house after which operation was launched and completed successfully."Statements of senior leaders of government are contradictory and confusing and these leaders should refrain from making such statements " Jan said.
