Deputy Commissioner Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu, Inaugurated New SBI Branch at CGC Jhanjeri

Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Jhanjeri, opened a branch of State Bank of India at its campus with ATM facility. The branch was inaugurated by  Tejinder Pal Singh Sidhu, Deputy Commissioner, Mohali as Chief Guest of the function. Sh. Deepak Sehli, Deputy General Manager & Sh. Madhukar Anand, Regional Manager from State Bank of India were Guests of Honour. While speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sidhu Deputy Commissioner, Mohali congratulated the Management for providing this facility and urged the students to never fall prey to drugs Instead make maximum use of  the facilities  i.e. gymnasium & NCC .Deepak Sehli ,Deputy General Manager informed at the moment that SBI is the biggest bank of India having more than 15000 branches in the country. It has 440 branches in the state of Punjab & Chandigarh. In Mohali alone, this is 17th branch of SBI and explained various schemes offered by SBI for the public and education loans for the students Satnam Singh Sandhu, Chancellor CU Cum Chairman CGC said that the opening of a bank within the campus will make banking for the staff and students much more convenient & comfortable. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC announced that, a fixed deposit of about Rs. Five Crore will be made with this Branch immediately.
