DC Srinagar chairs officers meeting

Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone today chaired a meeting of officers of various departments to review the arrangements and preparedness with regard to dewatering of water logged areas of Srinagar city.Directing the concerned for taking immediate measures for ensuring dewatering of water logged areas of the city, the Deputy Commissioner also asked the PHE and PDD departments for ensuring availability of drinking water and electricity supply.The meeting was informed that the departments are ready to meet any exigency.Among others, officers of Srinagar Municipal Corporation, Public Works Department, Power Development Department, Fire and Emergency Services, UEED and Public Health Engineering departments attended the meeting.
