Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Tuesday lashed out at the state government for unleashing a reign of terror and atrocities upon the people in south Kashmir areas particularly in Islamabad, Pulwama, Shopian, and Kulgam.In a statement issued to KNS, DFP general secretary Moulana Abdullah Taro said the state-sponsored oppression upon the civilian population is only increasing with each passing day and there is no let-up in the bloodbath by forces and arrest of youth in the district.Tari said due to curfew, people are unable to visit the families of martyrs and those injured during these days.Moulana criticised the state administration for dictating autocratic terms to employees saying “the employees are part of our society and we are united in our demand of freedom from Indian occupational rule”.

Giving reference to House Rent Allowance (HRA), Tari said by this way, the employees are pushed away from partaking in the freedom movement but Kashmiri people won’t surrender just for petty material gains.“People must become shield for each other during such hard times and shouldn’t get swayed by any fear or greed on part of the administration,” he said.Meanwhile, as per DFP spokesperson, party district presidents and activists of Islamabad, Shopian, Kulgam, and Pulwama are visiting the families of martyrs and injured people and consoled them.A delegation led by Er Farooq Ahmad Khan comprising Sheikh Zahoor Ahmad, Molvi Sajad Ahmad, Ishfaq Ahmad Kotwal, Shabir Ahmad Baba, Muhammad Aadil Wagay.District president Pulwama, Muhammad Amin led a delegation comprising Tanvir Ahmad, Shiraz Ahmad, Bilal Ahmad, Muhammad Abbas, and Gulzar Ahmad addressed various public gatherings and visited Hellar, Sheikh Takiya, Kharam, Sof Shalipora, Kachhpora, Kaahgam, Shopian, Rajpora, Pulwama, Tranj, Mohanpora, CHatargam, Niklorah, Chedas Pulwama, Maharajpora, Waawpora, Magraypora,, Brandjan, and dozens of other areas.
