DC convenes public grievances redressal camp

District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz, today convened a public grievances redressal camp at Batote to take stock of people’s problems and demands besides assessing the status of development works being executed in the area.Speaking on the occasion, the DDC said that such camps must be optimally utilized by the public and the government functionaries to ensure efficient implementation of all development and welfare programmes being launched for overall growth of the respective areas.

The DDC was apprised with grievances pertaining to health facilities, supply of water and electricity, road connectivity, link roads, veterinary services, staff shortage in schools, hospitals and offices, construction of bus stop, delay in payment of wages and compensations, mast lights and installation of hand pumps.The DDC directed the XEN, PHE, for providing clean drinking water to the public of Batote and ensure repair of the Water Filtration Plant (WFP) within minimum possible time.The DDC assured the people that all their issues would be looked into for an early redressal.The DDC was accompanied by  senior officers of district administration besides Sarpanchs, Panchs and prominent citizens.
