Law & order situation deteriorated so law that even religious preachers are not safe: Sanjay Singh

Condemning the attack on Sant Ranjit Singh Dhadrianwale on Tuesday night, National Spokesman and In-Charge of Punjab’s affairs of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Sanjay Singh today said that law & order situation of the state has deteriorated to an extent that now even the religious preachers are not safe for which Badal led state government is squarely responsible.AAP leader Sanjay Singh today visited the Gurudwara Praveshdwar here on Patiala-Sangrur Road to see Dhadrianwale, who was attacked by the ‘unidentified miscreants’ late night.  Sanjay Singh was accompanied by State Convenor of AAP Sucha Singh Chhotepur, Head of the legal cell of the party, Himmat Singh Shergil, Head of the Youth Wing of the party, Harjot Bains, Spokesman Kultar Singh, Member of the Campaign Committee Karanvir Singh Tiwana and Head of the Ex-servicemen Cell Captain Vikramjit Singh.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal specially talked to Dhadrianwale on phone to know his well being and expressed condolence to the demise of Baba Bhupinder Singh, who was killed in the attack.Sanjay Singh said it is unfortunate that about a couple of months back, Mata Chand Kaur of Namdhari Sect was killed by the miscreants and so far her killers are still at large, eight months back there was an incident of sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib at Bargadi and no one was arrested for the ‘shameful’ act and rather two of the Sikh youths were gunned down in the firing by “unidentified police’ on the peaceful protesters. “If religious preachers are not safe in the state, how can an Aam Aadmi be expected to be safe in the state, where law & order has totally collapsed?” Sanjay Singh quipped. “If the Akalis cannot ensure safety of the people in Punjab, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his Deputy Sukhbir Badal, who also holds Home portfolio, have no right to continue on their posts.” Singh vowed.The communal forces are deliberately playing with the feelings of the Punjabis to put state in fire again, Chhotepur said appealing the people of Punjab to get united to foil any evil designs of Badals to create communal tension in the state.
