CMA organized state level Internet Safety workshop in Collaboration with Google India

Chandigarh Management Association   organized State Training Workshop on Internet Safety at Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase-2 ,Mohali in collaboration with  Citizen Awareness Group ,Consumer Voice and Google  .Rinki Sharma Representative Consumer Voice, J.S.Bedi Chairman GJIMT, Surinder Verma Chairman, CAG and many industrialists, professionals, academicians were present on the occasion.Aneet Bedi President, CMA and Director, GJIMT said that the NORTON Cyber Security firm has reported that in the year 2015, around 594 million worldwide were affected by cybercrime. Indian consumers are said to have lost around Rs. 1882 billion and only around 41% use secure password. Around 61% worry that they will be a victim of cyber crime.

Rinki Sharma, Representative, Consumer Voice while speaking on the occasion said that in the era of e commerce, e banking and e transactions, there is a growing need for greater awareness on how to make the Internet safe for users during the businesses, pressure, parents, children and governments use it to make their lives more comfortable, convenient and meaningful.Chairman GJIMT  J.S.Bedi  Said at the moment that  because of all pervasive usage of Internet, there is also a need for securing the Internet so that it can be used with confidence and trust. He stressed for strong and unique password for every individual user.
