Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president Capt. Amarinder Singh today said that there was nothing apologetic about Arvind Kejriwal’s attitude during his ‘sewa’ in the Darbar Sahab today and it was just an “act of characteristic Kejriwal theatrics aimed at seeking publicity only”.“Moreover, you don’t atone for others’ sins and that too when the count of your own sins is already too long to do such favour (of owning up and atoning for) to others”, Capt Amarinder told Kejriwal, while pointing out that the blasphemy was committed by someone else.“Kejriwal’s attitude and approach during his entire stay in the Darbar Sahab was anything but apologetic”, the PCC president said, while pointing out, “a person tendering an apology and seeking forgiveness behaves with modesty and humility and not the way he (Kejriwal) acted and performed”.Asserting that Kejriwal was only trying to seek personal publicity out of this controversy, the PCC president asked him as what for was he atoning for and performing the sewa as actually it was Kanwar Sandhu who was responsible for the blasphemy and he was nowhere seen during the sewa organised for seeking forgiveness.
