Five Policemen injured in Yaripora Blast

Atleast five cops sustained injuries in a blast at Yaripora area of South Kashmirs Kulgam district. Reports reaching news agency GNS that a mysterious blast occurred inside police station Yaripora resulting in injuries to several policemen.However, police attributed the blast as militant attack on the police station.A police official said the militants hurled a grenade on a polices station at Yaripora in the district, leaving five cops injured. The injured were rushed to hospital where one of them is saids to be critical.The officer identified the injured cop as Mudasir Ahmad (Belt no.619/KGM).Soon after the attack, massive manhunt was launched against the attackers, the officer added.
