Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal today visited the Village Soffi to share his heartfelt sympathy with Union Minister of Social Justice and BJP president of Punjab unit,  Mr. Vijay Sampla on the sad demise of his granddaughter Navya (2).The Deputy Chief Minister has prayed to the Almighty to grant courage to the members of the bereaved family, friends and relatives to bear this huge loss in this hour of grief and grant peace to the eternal soul.It may be recalled that she was the only daughter of Mr. Ashu Sampla, who passed away at PGI Chandigarh while undergoing the treatment after brief illness.Prominent amongst present included Cabinet Minister Surjit Kumar Jyani,Senior BJP leader Baldev Raj Chawla,MLA Manoranjan Kalia,Former Minister Sucha Singh Langah,Chariman District Planning Board Kapurthala Sarbjit Singh Makkar,SGPC member Parmjit Singh Raipur, Assistant Media Advisor Vineet Joshi,Mayor Sunil Jyoti, Commissioner Jalandhar Division Harbhupinder Singh Nanda,Police Commissioner Arpit Shukla and Deputy Commissioner Kamal Kishore Yadav.
