At least nine militants were killed and 12 others were injured in a clash between security forces and the Taliban in Afghanistan's Saripul and Faryab provinces, an official said on Sunday.According to the official, four militants -- including group commanders -- were killed in Sayad district of Saripul province and five more insurgents lost their lives in Qaisar district of Faryab province respectively.A total of 12 militants sustained injuries in the skirmishes which have been continuing in parts of the said districts.
