DPR of Rs 15.26 cr prepared for Ramnagar stadium: Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari

Minister for Technical Education & Youth Services and Sports, Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari today, replying to a question of Vikramaditya Singh, informed the foundation stone of Ramnagar stadium was laid in the name of Raja Ram Singh Stadium by the then Minister of Youth Services and Sports in 1997-98.The Minister said funds to tune of Rs.2 lakh have been spent for levelling and development of upper edges of the stadium during the year 2007-08. He said as a follow up of decision taken in District Development Board Meeting of District Udhampur in the year 2015, the DPR for construction of Sports Stadium at Ramnagar was prepared through Secretary Sports Council at an estimated cost of Rs.15.26 crore and forwarded to Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, adding that the work on the project will be taken up subject to the availability of funds.
