BJP owes an explanation to people after CPS Sidhu’s claims on drug supply in red-beaconed vehicles

Reacting on the revelations made by Chief Parliamentary Secretary Navjot Kaur Sidhu that in Punjab drugs are being supplied in “Red-beaconed” vehicles, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today said that BJP should come clean on the issue and clarify its stand on the “menace of drugs” in Punjab.While Sidhu has made serious allegations against her own government, SAD and BJP are still is still in denial mode to accept the menace of drugs in Punjab, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann said adding that now both SAD-BJP should come clean on this and reveal the names of those politicians, in whose ‘red-beaconed” vehicles drugs are being supplied.It is pertinent to mention here that CPS Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu on Friday stated “Some Punjab leaders’ are using their red-beacon vehicles to supply drugs.  

These red beacons have been allotted by Deputy CM Sukhbir Badal to every Tom, Dick and Harry”.Mann said that although all Punjab knows that who are these “Tom, Dick & Harry” of Akalis, but it would be better if these names come out from the Horses’ (Sukhbir Badal’s) Mouth.Mann said Prime Minister Narindra Modi mentioned his concerns for drug abuse in  “Man ki Baat”, but why his party in Punjab is silent on the “Man Ki Baat” of its own leader CPS Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu, who made serious allegations against politicians.Indicating towards double standards of BJP on the drug issue, AAP MP said that on the one hand some of the BJP leaders’ admit drug as a serious issue and on the other hand, it virtually gives “clean chit” to the state government on the drug issue.
