The Punjab Government has today initiated ‘Ik Shaam Apni Sarkar De Naal’- a unique programme to showcase the achievements of the SAD-BJP government by organising publicity media vans shows across the state.Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the state government said that these shows have been started from today evening, with the aim to bring the government more closer to the people, this innovative project would play a proactive role by make general public aware about the people friendly initiatives, policies and programmes of the state government. These vans have been installed with 6 ft high & 8 ft wide LED screens and will reach people in every town and city across the length and breadth of the state in next days, to highlight the achievements of the SAD-BJP Government, said the spokesperson. These vans will screen 'short films' on various welfare measures and the achievements of the government at villages and towns where large number of people gather in order to provide awareness about various social welfare schemes so that the maximum number of deserving people can be taken under their ambit”, he added.
The achievements, the projects and policies drafted for the welfare of the people will give public an insight into the revolutionary steps taken by SAD-BJP government and each viewer will get the feel of being a proud Punjabi -“Saada Punjab Saadi Shaan, Saanu Punjabi Hon Te Maan”, said he.The vans are equipped with inbuilt GPS system with latest vehicle tracking equipment and surveillance cameras have been installed in these vehicles to help the Directorate of Information and Public Relations to monitor the vehicle movement and public response at places where films will be screened. A detailed programme and guidelines have been chalked out by the Public Relations Department to cover the entire state, said he and added that a Monitoring hub has been established at DIPR to oversee the complete movement of the vans. He said that the Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal who are always keen to take the government to the people and through this latest move the government would successfully approach the people at their doorsteps for their welfare.
He further informed that the complete capsule had been created around the film Chaar Sahibzada which was in itself a singular voice against oppression and tyranny. The film and the accompanying messages would be shown in the evening for about two hours and the audience will also get refreshments during the campaign. Besides, literature on the major achievements of the government will also be distributed. He said that SAD-BJP government has strived hard for the last nine years to cull out the economy from the fiscal mess that they inherited from the Congress government. Steering towards fiscal consolidation, more than threefold increase in GSDP has been achieved. All round attention has been paid towards promotion of Industrial development, revival of agriculture sector, giant strides in renewable energy sector, governance reforms, massive infrastructure creation, power plants, airports, schools, colleges, hospitals, stadiums, skilled development centres, creation of unparallel road network , Bhagat Puran Singh Sehat Bima Yojna, Mukhmatri Tirath Darshan Yatra, firm stand on SYL issue, unprecedented steps to perpetuate the glorious cultural heritage of the state by constructing world class memorials and much more has been done in the state.After this audio visual publicity, people will be able to judge for themselves that Punjab is scaling new heights of progress. They will be able to decipher between the negative propaganda and the actual reality, he added.
