The SAD-BJP Government has always adopted pro-active approach to formulate as well as aggressively implement various schemes and projects in order to ensure that the rapid pace of all round progress of the state is maintained and it occupies numero uno rank amongst all the other states in terms of technological , economical and infrastructural sphere.Stating these views on the concluding day of the two day sangat darshan here today at Tanda, the Punjab Deputy Chief Minister S. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that the multitude of various people friendly initiatives promulgated by the SAD-BJP government in Punjab have transformed the lives of every section of the society in Punjab for the better in comparison to the previous corrupt regime of congress.Listing out Health Insurance for farmers and traders, free power up to 200 units to every SC household, Bicycles for school going girls under Mai Bhago scheme, free power to farming sector, mukh mantri tirath darshan yatra, sewerage and water supply in all the grain markets of the state, 4-6 laning of road networks and international airports at Mohali, Bathinda and Adampur, S. Badal elaborated that with these innovations and all encompassing measures, Punjab has arrived as a major player at the world stage.

Launching a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Deputy Chief Minister said that this anti-Punjab and anti-Sikh outfit is going all guns blazing to disrupt the atmosphere of communal amity in the state through its virulent anti-state propaganda. He also said that the AAP is getting funds from foreign shores.Describing AAP as a party of political novices, S. Badal said that the allegations levelled by AAP on the Chief Parliamentary Secretaries' (CPS) posts in Punjab makes it clear cut that it has no knowledge about the functioning of the polity, structure and government in Punjab.Raising doubts at the capability of PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh, the Deputy Minister said that it is laughable that a person, who is facing revolt from the members of his own party and is not at all acceptable to them as their leader, is day dreaming about becoming Chief Minister of Punjab.The Deputy Chief Minister on the occasion distributed cheques of grants worth crores to the 109 village panchayats belonging to the Tanda area besides listening to their problems and instructing the officials present to act speedily to ameliorate their lot. It is important to mention that during these 2 days of sangat darshan, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal distributed cheques worth Rs. 30 crore to the people of Tanda Urmar region.Among those present on the occasion were Jail, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Minister, Punjab, S. Sohan Singh Thandal, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Bibi Mohinder Kaur Josh, District SAD President and MLA Surinder Singh Bhullewal Rathan, Principal Secretary to Deputy CM P.S. Aujla, DC Anandita Mitra, SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal and District Planning Committee Chairman Jawaharlal Khurana.
