NCC one of the greatest cohesive forces: Virbhadra Singh

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh participated in a function of National Cadet Corps (NCC)(I), Coy, Rampur Bushahr late evening yesterday in the Rampur degree college Auditorium. He was welcomed by Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Chauhan, Brig. Lalit Joshi, Group Commander, Shimla, Brig. Gyanodaya and Col. R.K.Sharma. Speaking on the occasion the Chief Minister said that NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country and molding them into united, secular and disciplined citizens of the nation. He said that NCC had introduced its cadets to community involvement programmes and other life skills programmes, adding that NCC’s core values are of Loyalty to Country, Uprightness, Leadership, Discipline, Commitment & Responsibility and Adventurous Spirit, which had survived for generations and these values should stand within the cadets in good stead in all their endeavours.Chief Parliamentary Secretary Shri Nand Lal also spoke on the occasion.
