ADC visits Amarnath Yatra transit camps, reviews arrangements

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Angrez Singh Rana today visited transit camps to review the arrangements put in place for the yatris.While inspecting the arrangements for the Yatra, the ADC stressed on the need for close coordination among different departments for ensuring infallible arrangements for the smooth conduct of Yatra.Later, a meeting was convened to review in detail the arrangements put in place by the district administration enroute from Tikri to Patnitop for the hassle-free Yatra. These include provision of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply, sanitation, makeshift toilets, lodging and langar facilities, medicare, traffic and security arrangements etc. at the already identified transit camps and langars.ADC gave necessary instructions to the officers and designated Camp Commanders of various transit camps and asked to work with sincerity and dedication to ensure successful conduct of the yatra.
