AAP leaders, misguided missiles lacking direction: Sukhbir Singh Badal

Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today labeled Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as hastily assembled leaders with misguided and aimless missiles.Interacting with media-persons during the commencement of his 2 day sangat darshan, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal while taking potshots at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) said it's so called hastily assembled leaders can be equated with the misguided missiles that don't at all the direction in which they are proceeding. Castigating AAP Convener and Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, the Deputy Chief Minister said Kejriwal backstabbed the people of Punjab when on his visit to the state he ranted against construction of SYL but the moment he got back to his citadel in Delhi he started singing peons in favour of SYL construction.He also disclosed that the people of Delhi are feeling cheated by Kejriwal as he had promised moon to them but is now unable to ameliorate their lot. He informed that AAP is fast losing ground in Delhi which is crystal clear from its defeat in the municipal corporation elections.

Taking on the Congress also with iron hands, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal said that PPCC Chief Captain Amarinder Singh is a frustrated man as his dream of holding the reins of the state was shattered twice in 2007 and 2012 and he would meet a similar fate in 2017 too. He dared Captain to showcase even a single development centric project or the initiative undertaken by him during his tenure.Lambasting both the parties for their anti-Punjab attitude, S. Badal said that these parties had left no stone unturned in defaming Punjab by branding its youth as drug addicts. He elaborated that police recruitment process is beginning on 5th July and the whole world would see that all candidates would come out clean. Making position clear, he said that not a single candidate during army recruitment one and a half years ago in Patiala was found positive in drug test which is a befitting reply to all those defaming Punjab only to gain political mileage.He also said that only the Punjab Chief Minister S. Parkash Singh Badal has the interests of all Punjabi's at heart and the state has witnessed development in all sectors only during his tenure. He added that the SAD-BJP government always accords top priority to the welfare of all the inhabitants of the state in order to ensure raising their standard of living besides continuing the pace of development.Deputy Chief Minister said the SAD-BJP government has been instrumental in providing sewerage and water supply system in the grain markets throughout the state apart from making available basic amenities to the poorer sections of the society. 

He also said that the state government has made it an article of faith to cater to the interests of all the sections of society which is amply demonstrated by the various people friendly measures like---health insurance scheme for traders and farmers and giving 200 units of free power to every SC household. He assured the vast gathering that the pace of development oriented projects would not allowed to be slackened.Earlier, the Deputy CM handed over cheques worth Rs. 10 crore to the 70 village panchayats of Bhunga block in Urmar area. He said no dearth of funds would be allowed to come in the way of the overall fast paced progress of the state. He also announced that during the 2 day sangat darshan programme, an amount of Rs. 30 crore overall would be disbursed amongst the village panchayats of Urmar area. Making an important announcement, he said that the water would be supplied to the villages of the region facing water shortage through water tankers.On the occasion, CPSs Bibi Mohinder Kaur Josh and Mrs. Sukhjit Kaur Shahi, Political Adviser to CM Tikshan Sood, District SAD President and MLA Surinder Singh Bhullewal Rathan, Principal Secretary to Deputy CM P.S. Aujla, DC Anandita Mitra, SSP Kuldeep Singh Chahal and District Planning Committee Chairman Jawaharlal Khurana were also present.
