No proposal for creation of TDA for Nobra Valley: Priya Sethi

Minister of State for Tourism, Ms. Priya Sethi today informed the House that at present there is no proposal with the Tourism Department to create a separate Tourism Development Authority for Nobra valley.Replying to a Question by Mr. Deldan Namgail, the Minister said that Nobra valley falls within the jurisdiction of Leh Development Authority and all the development activities are looked after by the said authority.The Minister said with a view to develop Tourism related infrastructure in Nobra valley 12 works have been completed out of 17 works taken up at a cumulative cost of Rs. 5.61 crore. She said the remaining 5 works are also nearing completion.
