Nazir Ahmad Gurezi for augmentation of health infra in Gurez

Deputy Speaker, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi today asked the officers to take necessary measures for augmenting and upgrading assets of Health departments in Gurez Constituency.Reviewing pace and progress of ongoing health schemes of Gurez constituency, Mr Gurezi stressed upon the officers to gear up construction work on all ongoing hospitals of Gurez and complete them in a prescribed time frame. He asked the Government to ensure posting of medicos and para-medicos including 5 doctors immediately to Gurez.The Dy. Speaker asked the officers to post local doctors who are natives of Gurez, in the Health Institutes of the Tehsil as the area is facing hardships due to shortage of medical staff. He further asked the concerned to ensure availability of drugs especially injectable anti-biotics in all Health Sub Centres, release pending salaries of casual Nursing Orderlies working in various health institutions of Gurez.The meeting was attended by the Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Dr. M. K. Bhandari, Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rehman, Director National Health Mission (NHM) Dr. Mohan Singh, Chief Medical Officer Bandipora, Dr. Bilques, Block Medical Officer, Gurez, Dr. Tahira Nazir and other officers of Health and Medical Education departments.
