Senior Hurriyat leader Ghulam Nabi Sumji and Insaf Party chairman G A Gulzar in a joint statement Sunday termed the present overall situation of the State as most critical and cautioned the people of all regions to rise to the occasion to defeat the cultural, economic and political aggression of India. In a statement issued to KNS, both the leaders accused Mehbooba Mufti as a ‘puppet chief minister dancing up to the tunes of fascist elements’ and reminded her past when she used to shed crocodile tears on the mass killings, molestations, and arrests during the National Conference Government but today her government is worst than any Martial Law.

The joint statement said that India is scared by the popularity of APHC so the task assigned to Mehbooba Mufti is to victimize the APHC leaders and cadres so as to implement its Imperialist and expansionist designs by changing the Muslim majority ratio, rehabilitation of non locals, construction of separate Pandit and Sanik colonies, providing vast areas of land to the non state subject industrialists.Both the senior leaders appealed the people of the state to remain vigilant to defeat all such ill designs of India and strengthen APHC and follow its political and peaceful programs in letter and spirit.
