Vikar Rasool stages walk out from Assembly

‘Disparity of funds with backward region's in Prime ministers package’

Criticizing the approached adopted by the coalition government to project the sectors for prime ministers package announced during 7th of November last year MLA Banihal and chief whip of congress legislative party in the house Vikar Rasool Wani today raise the issue of indifference and disparity of funds with the backward region's of state in general and Chenab valley including Banihal assembly segment Vikar Rasool informed the house that 60 % of J&K is comprised of rural areas but government has paid no attention towards the development of far flung and backward regions Vikar Rasool Wani was speaking in the question hour of assembly session here today. 

He alleged that prime ministers package was distributed just to fulfill political motives of PDP and BJP where as equal sufferers of flood 2014 are still waiting for the relief and rehabilitation.Vikar further added that government has failed to come on the expectations of backward and hilly region's of the state, as all developmental activities are completely and adversely affected all most of the central and state share schemes meant for these area has been stopped by the Union and state I,e stoppage of funds in BRGF and bad pocket area scheme is the worst example of coalition government's indifference with the Hilly region's Vikar added .

Meanwhile MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani also raise the issue of deteriorated conditions of all link roads of Banihal constituency in his calling attention motion in the house today and urged upon the government to ensure the improvement and upgradation of these road besides permission for additional macadamization of Banihal roads.In his reply on the calling attention motion of MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani minister for R&B Ab Rehman Veeri assured him that every possible step will taken to redress the issues highlighted by MLA Banihal.
