DC reviews Jumat-ul-Vida, Eid-ul-Fitr arrangements

Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mohammad Harun Malik today reviewed the arrangements for Jumat-ul-Vida and Eid-ul-Fitr celebration.The meeting reviewed in detail the arrangements being put in place by the concerned departments with regard to security, sanitation, uninterrupted power and water supply, medicare etc.SSP Poonch, J.S. Johar, Executive Engineers and AEEs of   PDD,  PHE, Chief Medical Officer, CEO Municipality, Food Safety Officer, besides other officers and  representative  of various religious and social organizations attended the meeting.The DDC stressed on close coordination among all concerned departments to ensure adequate arrangements during the festival days.  

Executive engineer PHE was directed to make arrangement  for temporary  washroom near ‘EID GAH’ and ensure uninterrupted water supply during Ramdhan  while  PDD was asked to ensure uninterrupted  power supply .Municipal Corporation and Urban Local Bodies were directed to start cleanliness drive in the district under Swatch Bharat Mission.CAPD authorities informed the DDC that two month advanced Rice and 50% Atta has been provided to the rationees and sugar is also being made available to the consumers.DDC also directed the concerned officers to ensure regular market checks to ensure quality products are made available to the consumers.
