‘Demands immediate release of Yatoo’

The Budgam police today morning put Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Peer Saifullah under house detention and arrested Mohammad Yaseen Attaai, Sayed Imtiyaz Hayder and Bashir Ahmad Bhat and detained them in Humhama police station while as the Indian army and SOG jointly arrested Tehreek-e-Hurriyat District Secretary Shopian Shakeel Ahmad Yattoo and whisked him at some unknown location and after 24 hours of his arrest, his family is not being told about his whereabouts.Chairman Hurriyat (M) Syed Ali Geelani strongly condemned the detention of Peer Saifullah and other Hurriyat leaders while as he expressed his deep concern about the safety of Shakeel Ahmad Yatoo and said that he is a well known political personality of the district Shopian and the army and SOG have no justification to arrest him. 

While demanding immediate release of Yatoo, Syed Ali Geelani cautioned that any unpleasant action with him will have serious consequences and the government will be directly responsible for that.In a statement issued to KNS, Syed Ali Geelani also condemned the continuous imprisonment of Hurriyat deputy secretary general Ghulam Nabi Sumji, Bilal Siddiqi and Hakeem Abdul Rasheed and the police raids on the residence of Abdul Ahad Parra and said that the RSS backed government had converted the entire state into a prison and nobody is allowed to open his mouth or express his concerns.
