Dredging of Jhelum going on in Sonawari area: Sham Lal Choudhary

Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Mr.  Sham Lal Choudhary today informed the House that dredging work of River Jhelum is being carried out in Sonawari constituency. He said that in this regard one dredger and two JCBs have been pressed into service on hourly contract basis, further adding that the work has not been allotted to any contractor.The Minister was responding to the issue raised by Mr. Mohammad Akbar Lone in the House today.
