Yoga events were organised on Tuesday across Madhya Pradesh at the district, block, panchayat and municipality levels on the occasion of International Yoga Day.A state-level event was organised here at the Lal Parade Ground in which hundreds of people participated, including Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani, political personages, administrative officers and students.The yoga programmes elsewhere in the state also saw large participation. The state's ministers were prominent in taking part in yoga events held at district levels.Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is currently on a visit to China, greeted people on the occasion of International Yoga Day and once again appealed to them to embrace the age-old discipline to keep healthy.
