Demands implementation of cabinet decision of appointing CAPD dealers

Highlighting the need of controlling price hike on essential commodities, protecting consumers rights and ensure to make availability of food grains, Kerosene and sugar in the state congress legislator from Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani today said that government need to keep check on market rates in order to make the protection of consumer rights possibleVikar Rasool said that introduction of national food security act is welcome step of the government but the need of the time is review its implementation on ground and other clause's like categorization of enlistment in AAY, PHH and NPHH as the most of the deserving beneficiaries are being neglected at Panchayat level. He further added that left out people should be enlisted.

Vikar Rasool while demanding ex gratia in favor of one class 4th employee namely Shokat Ali Giri who died some days ago in car accident while on his way to submit NFSA corrections list.MLA Banihal urged upon the government to take keen interest in solving the carriage commission of CAPD dealers of Banihal constituency whose dues are pending from last 1.5 year.However Vikar Rasool suggested the government to implement the cabinet decision of appointing CAPD dealers as government salesmen’s and also demand the confirmation and regularization of class 4th employees and night Chowkidars of CAPD department.Vikar Rasool express his serious concern on hike in rates of essential commodities during the month of Ramzan. He demand that government should constitute special squads in every Tehsil headquarter of the state to keep check on rates. (KNS)
