No plan to open route at Sudhpora: Abdul Haq Khan

Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, law and Justice Abdul Haq today, replying to a question of Javid Ahmad Mirchal, informed that Government will examine opening of new LoC crossing point at Tangdar Karnah in Kupwara district.The Minister said the former Chief Minister late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had a dream to bridge the gap between the divided families and make borders irrelevant. He said Government is committed to open more entry points so that the divided families can meet.Abdul Haq said though currently there is no plan to open route at new crossing point at Sudhpora from the renowned Ziyarat Sharief Tangdar Karnah but the Government will examine it and respond accordingly.
