Condemning newly appointed Punjab Incharge of Congress, Aam Aadmi Party Convener, Sucha Singh Chhotepur said that Kamal Nath is lying that he went to Gurdwara Rakab Ganj Sahib to protect the Sikhs. He said that nobody will buy Nath’s statement as it is well known that he is one of the main architects of Sikh genocide in 1984.In press statement here on Wednesday, Chhotepur said that earlier Nath lied that he was not present on the spot but now he is saying that he went there to save the Sikhs. He said that the statement of Nath is contradictory in itself that shows that the whole statement is based on the lie.Chhotepur said that history is witnessed that who so ever has stood by Sikhs is awarded by them beyond religious lines. Sikh even respect Nawab of Malerkotla for standing by the younger Sahibjadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.Referring to the statement of Indian Express Sanjay Suri, Chhotepur said that he gave his written statement against Nath’s claim to Mishra Commission earlier and then to Nanawati Commission later on. Suri even mentioned it in his book later on.Chhotepur also criticized Captain Amrinder Singh for giving clean chit to Kamal Nath just for his greed to get power. He said that Congress has Congress didn’t speak even when Congress had given higher posts to the people including H.L. Bhagat whom Amrinder accused for Sikh genocide. He said that Congress has sent Nath to Punjab just to rub salt on wounds of Punjabis.
