Women Employees Grievance Cell set up in Civil Secretariat: Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura

Minister for Agriculture Mr Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura informed the House that a grievance cell for women employees in the civil secretariat has been established. Replying to a question by Ms Anjum Fazili, the Minister said that Commissioner Secretary Social Welfare Ms Sarita Chouhan, Joint Director Tourism Department Ms Omera Shafat and Under Secretary Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Ms Kiran Raina comprise the officers in the cell.The Minister said that it is for the first time in the history of the state that a women employees cell was established for addressing the grievances of the women employees in civil secretariat. He said that the initiative was taken on the directions of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti. He said that the Government would also consider setting up such cells in the districts.40 kms road length to be blacktopped in Khour, Pargwal blocks during current fiscal Minister of State for Roads and Buildings Mr Sunil Kumar Sharma today said that 25.93 kms of road length has been blacktopped during 2014-15 in Khour Block of Chhamb constituency under different schemes.

Replying to a question by Dr Kishan Lal, the Minister said that a road length of 33.80 kms in Khour Block and 6.25 kms in Pargwal block is proposed to be blacktopped during the current financial year. He further said that 10 kms Jogwan Syala to Nelli Nallah road would be taken up at an estimated cost of Rs 18.22 crore under PMGSY Phase X. He said after completion of this road, four habitations of the area would benefit by better road connectivity in the area.The Minister also gave details of the road projects constructed in Chhamb constituency during last two fiscals besides he also informed about the allotment of new road projects and floating of tenders of various roads in the House.Responding to the supplementaries, the Minister said that  incomplete roads of PMGSY Phase II would be completed under PMGSY Phase X. He said that in this regard the pre-empowered committee meeting was held in New Delhi and Government expects to receive the sanction of PMGSY Phase X road projects shortly. He said that the Government would consider keeping the provision of funds for maintenance of PMGSY roads.Abdul Majid Padder, Vikar Rasool Wani, Rajeev Jasrotia, Mian Altaf, G M Saroori and  Yawar Ahmad Mir raised supplementaries to the main question.
