Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement activists today held a protest demonstration in Srinagar against the proposed Sainik colony and separate townships for Kashmiris Pandits.Leaders and activists took a protest rally in Srinagar and raised pro-Islam and Pro-freedom slogans.They paid tributes to martyrs and pledged to take the mission of martyrs to its logical conclusion. They raised slogans against Sainik colony and townships for Kashmiri Pandits proposal.Activist said that Indian government with the help of so-called government has framed couple of policies to change the demography of state and to weak the ongoing freedom struggle which we have to thwart at any cost.He said that setting up Sainik Colony or separate townships for Kashmiri Pandits and refugees will not be allowed as such policies have been framed to change the demography of the state.They strongly opposed India’s new industrial policy of Kashmir terming it a conspiracy to settle non-Kashmiris in the territory.

Leaders said that no economic package or any sort of benefit can be substitute to ‘right to self determination’ for which Kashmiris have suffered immensely, laid down lives and rendered countless sacrificesHe termed such policies open aggression and asked people stand up against all such sinister designs of New Delhi and puppet government. Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Chairman Zaffer Akbar Bhat was presented traditional Sindhi Ajrak at Karachi Press Club.President Karachi Press Club Fazil Jamili and Secretary A.H Khanzada received Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Zaffer Akbar Bhat on his arrival to city.Zafar Akbar was on a two day visit to Karachi during which attended several high level meetings. He also visited Mazar e Qaid and offered a Fatteh.Zafar Akbar Bhat visited Jamat e Islami head office Idar e Noor Haq Karachi where he was received by Ameer Jamat e Islami Karachi Hafiz Nayeem ur Rehman and Naib Ameer e Jamat e Islami karachi Usama Razi and muzafar Hashmi former senator and member Kashmir Committee. Zafar Akbar Bhat also paid a visit to the house of Mohammad Saleem Kashmiri resident in karachi who died last week in an accident.Zaffer Akbar Bhat offered condolences to the family and prayed for the deceased.
