Chairman Jammu Kashmir Salvation Movement Zaffer Akbar Bhat visited Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Rawalpandi office on Saturday to pay tributes to Amanullah Khan who left this world on April 26.Zaffer Akbar Bhat attended the condolence meet organized in memory of Amanullah Khan along with Sikh leader Narendra Singh Khalsa and others. JKLF Senior vice chairman Abdul Majeed Bhat, Vice Chairman Saleem Haroon, Vice Chairman Abid Gilgitie and other welcomed the visiting delegation. On the occasion, JKLF Senior vice chairman Abdul Majeed Bhat said that ongoing movement is collective asset of Kashmiris living on both sides and it needs collective efforts for taking it logical conclusion. He reaffirmed to continue the struggle and said that JKLF will always play a leading role under the Chairmanship of Mohd Yasin Malik.

Paying glowing tributes to Amanullah Khan, Zaffer Akbar Bhat described him founder and architect of ongoing Kashmir freedom struggle. He said that contributions of Amanullah Khan to ongoing movement will be remembered for decades and his role can’t be ignored.He said that efforts of Mohd Yasin Malik in Srinagar against the oppressive, suppressive, anti-Kashmir, anti-Islam policies of RSS-BJP combine are commendable and praiseworthy. Bhat said that Salvation movement will always support all those policies and programs which will safeguard the sacrifices of martyrs. He said that Salvation Movement will not hesitate in laying down sacrifices for supporting such stances against the illegal occupation.Zaffer strongly condemned the frequent detention of Mohd Yasin Malik and said that arresting Malik Shab has again exposed the real face of India.He paid tributes to JKLF supreme leader Amanullah Khan and prayed for his heavenly adobe.Sikh Leader, Narendra Singh Khalsa also paid tributes to Amanullah Khan. He said that people from every community and religion are part of the ongoing movement. Khalsa said that mpvement will be taken to its logical conlusion without harming the decades old brotherhood. “Amanullah Khan Shab’s belief was that people from every community should actively fight against the illegal occupation,” he added.
