First time in 49 years history of CMA that lady contender won the election

Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT, Mohali has been elected as president of Chandigarh Management Association (CMA) in the elections held at Lions Club, Chandigarh for the year 2016-17. This is for the first time in 49 years history of CMA that lady contender has won the election.Newly elected executive committee was announced by Dr. Aneet Bedi, President Elect (Director,GJIMT,Mohali). Mr. Niraj Pasricha, Vice President; Mr. Deepak Dhingra, Secretary General; Mr. Surinder Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary and Mr Surinder Kumar Verma, Trasure. Mr A.L.Davesar, Mr Chanchal Manohar Singh Bedi, Dr. T.L.Kaushal, Prof. JPS Ninder, Mr. J S Bedi, Mr.S.B Khullar, Mrs Madhulika Kal and Mr R.K. Nayyar all as executive committee members.The outgoing president Mr. J.S.Nayyar welcomed the incoming President Dr. Aneet Bedi President Elect (Director, GJIMT, Mohali). During the function annual general meeting was held where in Mr. Deepak Dhingra presented a PPT for the achievements of CMA during the year 2015-16. Mr. Surinder Verma presented the accounts of CMA and Ms Madhulika Kak read Annual Report of CMA.Chandigarh Management Association (CMA), a registered society, is affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA). Established in 1966, CMA is now 49 years old. At present CMA has more than 600 members drawn from Industry, Trade, and Academic institutions of Chandigarh City and its contiguous areas.
