No proposal to bring Homeshalibugh villages under ED Kulgam: Dr. Nirmal Singh

Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh today informed the House that there is no proposal to bring villages and offices of Homeshalibugh Constituency under the administrative control of Electric Division (ED) Kulgam.The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds charge of Power Development Department, was replying to a question of Abdul Majid Larmi.  He informed that the present physical infrastructure of the power system in Matibug Dessend, Palnoo, Frisal Yaripora, Tengyan, Hanger Zaban, Shirpora, Arwani and other adjacent villages of Homeshalibugh Constituency don’t allow to change the administrative control.The Deputy Chief Minister said all the areas/villages of the Constituency are under the administrative control of Sub-Division Reshipora of Electric Maintenance & Rural Electrification Division Bijbehara. Dr. Singh said to change the administrative control of these villages and offices, a fresh proposal needs to be framed after considering the technical and financial implications.Altaf Ahmad Wani and Dilip Singh Parihar raised supplementaries to the main question.
