Rs. 165.62 cr works proposal submitted to Centre : Abdul Haq Khan

Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq  today informed the House that four road projects worth Rs. 16.31 crore under different schemes have been sanctioned by the Government for Bani constituency during the last 5 fiscals.Replying to a question by Mr. Jeewan Lal, the Minister said that three road projects of Rs. 10.37 crore were sanctioned under NABARD and one road project of Rs. 5.93 crore was sanctioned under state sector in the constituency during last 5 fiscals.The Minister said that the proposal  of 15 schemes for Rs. 165.62 crore of Bani constituency has been submitted to Union Ministry of Rural Development under PMGSY Phase-X. He said these proposals were discussed during the meeting of pre-empowered committee of Union Ministry of Rural Development held in New Delhi on May 13, 2016. He said that sanction to these projects is expected soon after the meeting of Empowered Committee.
