SFC generates income of Rs. 141.54 cr in last 2 years: Abdul Haq Khan

Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Justice, Abdul Haq, today informed the House that the State Forest Corporation has generated an income of Rs. 141.54 crore during the last two years. He said Rs 66.49 crore were generated in 2014-15 and Rs 75.05 crore in 2015-16.Replying to a question of Sham Lal Bhagat, on behalf of Forest Minister, Abdul Haq informed that the Department had deficit of Rs 23.81 crore at the end of financial year 2014-15, while as deficit of Rs 28.21 crore at the end of last fiscal. He said that the Department has met the deficit by transferring funds from Srinagar account to the extent of Rs 24.80 crore and Rs 27.25 crore for the financial years 2014-15 and 2015-16 respectively.
