On the passing away anniversary of Hazrat Syed-un-Nisa Fatima Zahra (RA), the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the Jammu Kashmir Muttahida Majlis-e-Ulema chief and Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday said her life, her dedication towards the path of Allah and teachings of the Prophet (SAW) and her contribution to the mankind is a shinning beacon for all Muslims.Stressing that by remaining dedicated in the way of Allah and following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in letter and spirit, the Mirwaiz said Hazrat Syed-un-Nisa Fatima Zahra (RA) had shown the true path to the Muslims by leading her own life with piousness, devoutness and piety.Addressing a Majlis at the shrine of Khawaja Naqshbandi Sahab (RA) at Khawaja Bazaar area of Srinagar on the third day of the holy fasting month of Ramadan, the Mirwaiz, while shedding light on the different aspects of the life of the leader of the women in Jannat, said she has been a role model for womenfolk for centuries now and her life been an example for all the Muslim women – daughters, sisters and mothers.Urging Muslim women in general and Kashmiri Muslim women in particular to adopt the way of life of the shinning one Hazrat Syed-un-Nisa Fatima Zahra (RA), the Mirwaiz called upon them to follow in letter and spirit the path she choose for herself and thereby help bring an Islamic revolution.He said just by paying glowing tributes to the chaste and the pure one, who spent much of her time in prayers, reciting the holy book of Quran and in other acts of worship, Muslims would not able to repay Hazrat Syed-un-Nisa Fatima Zahra (RA) for her good deeds toward the humanity but needed to adopt her outlook and ways and in every walk of life.On the occasion, the Mirwaiz also talked about the importance of the ongoing holy month of Ramadan and of staying away from vices and wrongdoings besides fasting from dawn to dusk. Delving in detail about Huquq-ul-Allah (duties toward the Allah) and Huquq-ul-Ibad (duties toward the mankind), he urged the Muslims to perform both the duties strictly.The Mirwaiz said while the month of Ramadan provides Muslims an opportunity to take stock of their lives, it also grants them an opportunity to wash their lives off sins and vices by submitting to the Almighty Allah and by leading lives bereft of wrongdoings and other ills.
