No possibility of any untoward happening at GHSS Rajouri: Naeem Akhtar

Minister for Education, Naeem Akthar today, relying to a Calling Attention Notice  of Vibod Gupta,  informed the House that there is no possibility of any untoward incident happening at Girls Higher Secondary School (GHSS),Rajouri.The Minister said,at present, the GHSS Rajouri is functioning from a complex comprising of 13 rooms at Gujjar Mandi. He said the enrollment of school is 700 in the Secondary/Higher Secondary level with full complement of sanctioned strength of 15 lecturers, 6 Masters and 9 Teachers. However, he said that due to insufficient accommodation, the school is running on shift basis.The Minister said that additional rooms are proposed to be constructed in new complex. He said a Girls Hostel under RMSA is being constructed as premises is spread over 13 kanals.
