Zero Hour: Members seek redressal of public issues

Several members raised issues of importance during Zero Hour in the House today.Vibodh Gupta requested construction of lawyers chambers in the Rajouri court complex.Mr. Ramesh Arora asked for checking of irregularities in flour mills across the state.Mr. Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo asked for early distribution of solar lights in the far flung unelectrified areas of Kishtwar district.Mr. Qaiser Jamsheed Lone asked to expedite selection process in the Fire and Emergency services.Dr. Shehnaz Ganai requested for allotment of examination centers in Rajouri and Poonch districts for various exams conducted by SSRB, slashing of application fee and undertaking a common advertisement of District, Divisional and State cadre posts.Dr. Bashir Ahmad Veeri asked for the timely release of salaries of college contractual lecturers and also raising it.Mohammad Muzaffer Parray said that Government should inform the House about the steps taken in disaster management, especially with regard to frequent earthquakes.Mr. Surinder Ambardar asked Government to look into the transfer of a CA&PD employee.

Mr. Naresh Kumar requested the Government to delegate admission and examination processes to Baderwah campus of Jammu University for the students belonging to Doda, Kishtawar, and Ramban districts.Mr. Dharambir Singh Oberoi said that Government should immediately disburse the relief to the flood affectees.Mr. Sham Lal Bhagat asked for the regularization of Rehabar-e-Taleem (ReTs) working in seasonal schools for scheduled tribes.Mr. Gulam Nabi Monga enquired if Government has any provision of special centre for providing education to specially abled children in Baramulla.Saif-ud-Din Bhat said that Government should immediately shift Kandora High School in Beerwah Constituency to its newly constructed building for safety reasons.Mr. Surinder Choudhry asked to make sub office of JKBOSE at Nowshera functional for the benefit of children. Zafar Iqbal Manhas requested for the cleaning of Bemina water canal.Mr. Khursheed Alam requested for proper maintenance of Central Water canal coming from Harwan.Mr. Firdous Tak asked for creation of teaching posts in Kishtwar Degree college and Jammu University Campus Kishtwar.Mr. Showkat Hussain Ganai said Government should allot Community Halls to MLCs also.Sofi Yusuf requested for regularization of National Health Mission staff.Master Noor Hussain said Government should provide basic amenities to Gujjar colonies.Mr. Javed Ahmad Mirchal asked for restoring the Tehsil status to Teetwal, and also start a business mandi there.Mr. Jugal Kishore requested development of infrastructure of new administrative units at Bhemag in District Reasi.
