11 killed in car bomb attack in Turkey

Seven police personnel and four civilians were killed with over 30 others injured on Tuesday in an attack targeting a police vehicle in Turkey's Istanbul city.A bomb-laden car was detonated as the vehicle was passing by a police station, according to Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin.The police vehicle was heading to the Istanbul University for regular duty, Hurriyet Daily News reported.Gunshots were heard after the explosion, officials said.
